Robert Ingle, CPA, Managing Partner

Robert Ingle, CPA, has over thirty years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. He provides accounting, auditing, personal financial consulting, and tax planning and preparation services to individuals and numerous industries including automobile dealerships, construction, manufacturing, real estate, not-for-profit organizations, service industries, and wholesale distribution. His consultative and creative approach to solving business problems is what clients value most.

Bob is a hands-on leader of Ingle & Associates’ staff and clients. His focus includes audit, tax, and consulting services for closely-held businesses. Drawing upon his own first-hand experience as an entrepreneur, Bob has assisted numerous start-up ventures and provides experienced counsel to help emerging companies manage rapid growth.

Bob founded Ingle & Company, PC in 1983, and during the next 15 years oversaw the firm’s steady growth to a staff of six. In 1998 he negotiated his first merger with another downtown CPA firm retiring 3 of the 4 partners. Under his leaderships during the next decade, the firm more than doubled in size. Bob’s business philosophy emphasizes deep partnership with clients, careful cultivation of loyal, skilled staff, and innovative, forward-thinking approaches to accounting and finance. In 2008 Bob left the downtown Boston firm, moving to Wellesley with his core clients and selected staff. In the past 7 years, Ingle & Associates has acquired a number of accounting practices. This expansion has expanded revenues and staff to a multi-million dollar firm with three offices, Wellesley, Shrewsbury, and Hanover, MA.

Bob received his Bachelor of Science from Babson College,’77. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a fellow of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).
